This shade will compliment any other colour from our Wood Stain and Neutrals & Colour range. Low maintenance weatherproof coating that contains UV filters to protect colours from fading. Safe and easy to use with virtually no odour and free of solvents. Requires two to three thin coats and is suitable for smooth or rough timber.

Advice: It is recommended that 2-3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.
This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use Protek's Wood Preserver ++ first.

Care & Maintenance
As an easy care product made from pressure-treated wood that protects against rot, there is no need to apply any treatment within the first 6 months of receipt.
Doing so will invalidate the warranty, as this will not allow enough time for excess moisture from the pressure treatment to dry out.
However, after this period, you may apply annual treatment to prolong the life and look of the product.
