Making a difference in the community
Here at Zest, we are celebrating over ten years of fundraising success having raised over £100,000 for a variety of charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices, Cancer Research UK, Action for Children, Alzheimer’s Society, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Meningitis Now.
As our Managing Director, Steve Morgan says:
“Kindness costs nothing and I’ve always stressed the importance of supporting charities.
"As a company we have raised thousands for many charities and I’m proud of the ways employees choose to raise money from sky diving to marathons.
"It’s a real team effort from the directors to employees in every department across our sites. We are also frequently supported by suppliers and customers. Everyone gets involved.”
This year, our chosen charity is the British Heart Foundation. You can donate now through our JustGiving page and help us reach our £10,000 target for 2022.
Zest has contributed massively to charity, raising over £100,00 pounds for various charitable causes
The running total for monies raised by the team at Zest is well over £100,000. Inspired by Managing Director Steve Morgan’s passion for “being part of a company we can all be proud of. I want to do things for the right reasons and putting something back is absolutely the right thing to do.”
Our chosen charity in 2022 is the British Heart Foundation
Our aim is to raise £10,000 for British Heart Foundation by the end of the year through multiple fundraising activities. We’d be very grateful for any support you can give.Donate now
This year, our employees voted for the British Heart Foundation as our charity of the year. The BHF is a charity that resonates with us all at Zest and the P&A Group.
The BHF funds world-leading research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cures for heart and circulatory diseases. Advances from the charity’s research have saved and improved millions of lives, but heart diseases, stroke, vascular dementia and their risk factors such as diabetes still cause heartbreak on every street.
Steve Morgan, Managing Director, said:
“Every year, P&A Group employees throw themselves into fundraising challenges to raise money for charities close to their hearts. I know this year will be no different and we’ve already had people signing up for the Manchester Marathon, 5K and 10K runs, daily exercise challenges, pledges to give up sweet treats for a month, virtual quiz nights and much more. We’re even hosting an event to throw wet sponges at the company directors for a fee!”
