Zest Outdoor Living is proud to be part of P&A Group, which has officially achieved B Corp certification.
B Corp certification recognises businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. It is awarded to companies that are committed to balancing profit with purpose and considering their impact on people, communities and the planet.
At Zest, our products are designed to help people enjoy their outdoor spaces, and we recognise the responsibility that comes with manufacturing and sourcing timber garden products. Being part of a Certified B Corporation supports our commitment to responsible business, sustainable thinking and continuous improvement.
Certification reflects the work taking place across P&A Group, including how we support our people, manage our environmental impact, work with suppliers, contribute to our communities and make responsible decisions for the long term.
For Zest, this reinforces our ongoing commitment to developing products and partnerships in a way that considers quality, value, sustainability and impact.
Becoming a B Corp is an important milestone, but it is also part of a longer journey. We will continue to use the B Corp framework to guide our progress and help us keep improving.
Why B Corps Matter
B Corp certification is granted to companies that achieve rigorous benchmarks in social responsibility, environmental impact, and public transparency.
Rather than focusing solely on profit, certified businesses pledge to act as a force for good by weighing the impact of their decisions on their workforce, local communities, and the planet.
To achieve and maintain certification, all B Corps:
1. Complete the B Impact Assessment and achieve a verified total score of 80+ points.
2. Meet the B Corp legal requirement– amending Articles of Association to embed a commitment to consider the impact of decisions on all stakeholders.
3. Sign the B Corp Agreement and the Declaration of Interdependence.
They also publicly list their impact score on the B Lab Directory and recertify every 3 years.
