Zest Employees Venture Even Further For Company Charity
Published: 18th Sep 2024
Garden furniture, grow your own and decorative garden structure specialist, Zest, part of the P&A Group, is backing its employees in two impressive money-raising endeavors, the latest initiatives in support of the company’s 2024 charity, North East Wales Mind.
Twelve employees are involved in the 150-foot Liverpool Cathedral Abseiling event, and on September 22nd, Ben Morgan, nephew of Zest’s CEO, Steve Morgan is undertaking the Ironman challenge https://www.ironman.com/im-wales. His back-to-back swim, cycle ride and run will be made even more challenging as the swimming is in the sea, rather than still water. Ben has a JustGiving page for fundraising here.
Steve Morgan commented,
“Both of these events are powerful testament to our commitment as a company to raising awareness of mental health issues as we support North East Wales Mind as our chosen charity this year.”
North East Wales Mind helps people in Flintshire and Wrexham recover from mental health problems and stay emotionally healthy. In addition to telephone counselling and emotional support, the charity offers a range of online services and activities. Their phone lines are open 10am til 4pm each weekday.
