ZEST SCALES NEW HEIGHTS IN ITS 2025 CHARITY FUNDRAISING MISSION

Published: 4th Aug 2025

Employees from garden furniture, grow your own and decorative garden structure specialist, Zest, part of the P&A Group, have reached new heights of achievement in the company’s mission to raise money for MS Society Cymru and North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) in 2025.

Marking Zest’s 20th anniversary (and P&A Group’s 40th), a Zest team of eleven completed the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, and just over a week later, five brave employees held their nerves for the highest bungee jump in the UK - 300ft at Tatton Park.

The Welsh Three Peaks took place on 20th June and saw the walkers conquer Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons, Cadair Idris, and finally the most iconic peak—Y Wyddfa (Snowdon).  The epic challenge started at 9:00 a.m. and finished just ahead of midnight.

Zest’s Managing Director, Andrew Baker commented

“What an incredible achievement! We’re all exhausted after the 17 mile hike, with an elevation of 2505 metres, but this challenge was about so much more than conquering the Welsh Three Peaks. Today, I witnessed true teamwork, unwavering encouragement, resilience, and determination. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to bring people together from across the business to accomplish something meaningful. I’m incredibly proud of everyone’s effort and of the vital funds we’ve raised for two very worthy charities.”

Just a week later, five brave employees, including Alwyn Williams, Zest’s Head of Business Support, launched themselves into the unknown with the 300-foot bungee at Tatton Park.

Thomas Jones, Senior Digital Marketing Executive who completed both challenges commented

“I’m so pleased I did it. I was so nervous, and it took real grit, but I kept thinking about our worthwhile charities and how every penny raised can help.”

Tom is becoming something of a fundraising legend at Zest having already completed the Born Survivor assault course, in Cheshire this year and soon to tackle the 5km assault course – “Inflatables” later this year.
