Zest Wins At Solex

A great event all round was the verdict from timber garden furniture and decorative garden structure specialist, Zest on SOLEX 2022.  It showcased its new products for the 2023 season and won the Best Furniture Product award for the Zest Garden Bar and Two Stool Set as well as second prize in Best Stand in show.  Zest also unveiled its new branding, and new trade and consumer website to SOLEX visitors.

Zest has invested significantly over the last two years in finding out exactly what consumers want from their outdoor experiences with regards to garden furniture and timber decorative structures, as well as in creating an in-house design team to facilitate innovation and product development.  Zest were delighted to be placed second in the best stand awards at SOLEX as it was designed, built and styled by in-house teams.

Now branded Zest and with a new trade and consumer website www.zestoutdoorliving.co.uk the company is targeting outdoor living enthusiasts and positioning itself as the natural choice for sustainable timber garden products.  Including new products and existing award-winning best sellers, the Zest collection is ideal for everything from outdoor entertaining to relaxation and for all those wanting to be closer to nature.

Zest’s new Garden Bar is a perfect party piece which is also space-saving and innovatively versatile.  Its main storage doors open to make a base for a fold down counter, while the hinged doors on the side panel reveal fully fitted drinks cabinet shelving.  The main storage space contains two stackable stools for guests.

Also on display at SOLEX, was the contemporary-style Freya seating and dining range which incorporates alternate width wooden slats spaced to make a comfortable ergonomic seating shape with generous arm rests and enough space for a glass.  Zest’s new Garden Pizza Oven Table has been designed with 360 degree access for fueling the oven, cooking, and serving. The central tabletop holds the pizza oven with fold up sides for preparation and serving.  It has two shelves for drinks and refreshments.

The Zest Curved Bench Seat is perfect for sitting around a fire pit or low table in comfort.  Combined with additional benches, you can create a versatile circular seating arrangement. Alternatively, the innovative benches are designed to stand together end-to-end creating a serpentine seating arrangement providing flexibility for an informal gathering.  Inspired by Japanese architecture and beautifully crafted to bring an oriental feel to the garden, the new Cherry Blossom Bench from Zest is functional, elegant and absolutely on trend. 

Another popular Zest product at SOLEX was the stylish Jasmine Folding Chair, available in dark or light grey finishes. Elegant and inspired by the simple contours of the popular Adirondack style, it is made from rich, durable, and sustainable acacia wood, which is naturally water resistant and has natural durability.

To meet the increased demand for home delivered parcels, Zest also showcased two innovative parcel stores which were well received by all visitors.  The Parcel Store with Planter has an integral planter feature and is both functional and an attractive home and garden feature.  The Keep Safe Parcel Store is designed with security in mind and has a mechanism which ensures that once a parcel has been placed on the platform and the lid is closed, the parcel drops from the platform to the base of the parcel store and is then inaccessible when the lid is next lifted.

All the new Zest products displayed at SOLEX are made from FSC®- C114990, sustainable slow grown softwood from responsibly managed forests, and are pressure treated with a ten-year guarantee against rot.
